Well, finally... our first blog! After months of trying to get it all together and sometimes succeeding and sometimes doing some crazy face flops, I think maybe we're beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and no, it's not a train coming from the other direction!
We had our first 2008 New Thought Music Festival promotional "gig" with Jazz/Blues Great Francine Reed at Roswell Riverside Park Friday night. The great news is that there were several hundred people there who got a taste of what is to come on our Festival Weekend June 6 and 7. We sang our hearts out with Ms. Reed and we wore our cute blue t-shirts with our logo "Let your Heart Sing" and handed out postcards and individually invited everyone to come. Tickets are selling now that we dropped the price drastically from $25 down to $15 per ticket/per night, and so, we're making progress. Let me tell ya, it takes a lot to put on an event like this.
I have to give Penelope Williams credit for having the vision and the heart to see it all through! Can't wait for our Good Vibrations Choir to meet the Santa Cruz, CA choir and to see the Seattle "Choir of Light" again as well as our Hillside neighbors! Penelope and I got to meet some of the
Santa Cruz folks and heard them sing when we were at Revelation 2008 last month! They rock! Well, gotta go now.. LOVE & PEACE!

Simply awe-inspiring!
Words can not even begin to depict the elated feeling and gratitude I feel in being able to be part of such and remarkable event. It simply delightful to witness how living the language of music can manifest oneness and unity in our self’s and our communities throughout the world.
